Job Overview
TCH is looking for a department admin to deploy organizational support nationwide for repairs and maintenance to our National Account Clients. This position requires fierce attention to detail, product knowledge, and a superior “customer-centric” point of view.
Essential Job Functions
- Monitor departmental inbox and assign to NA team as appropriate
- Answer departmental in-bound phone calls, forward to Project Managers as necessary
- Write sales orders for service and repair, with direction from Project Managers
- Contact customers for additional details needed to write and dispatch accurate sales orders
- Dispatch Service Providers to customer site
- Notify and prepare Customer for SP’s arrival (timeline, contact info, etc.) as requested by customer
- Update customers on status in a timely manner via email, phone or portal
- Follow up with SP’s on overdue service orders
- Maintain Service Provider contact information and performance surveys in MBC
- Secure Certificate of Insurance from Service Providers, attach to vendor card in MBC
- Accurately file completed work order packets
- Review Open Work Order report and follow up with Project Managers as required
- Assist Project Managers in coordinating projects
- Attend internal and external training to increase product knowledge of the door and hardware industry
- Other duties as assigned
Skills Requirements
- Self-motivated to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented with intermediate knowledge of Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail
- Ability to communicate concisely and effectively (verbal and non-verbal) with co workers and customers
- Strong cognitive skills (problem solving, decision making comprehension)
- Basic understanding of hardware components
Working Conditions
Office environment involving extended periods of computer work; workstations allow standing or sitting.
