Position Summary :
The HIM Analyst position promotes charge capture accuracy and proactive management of the charge description master (CDM), requiring full understanding of the revenue management function. Ensures that the CDM is accurate and in compliance with state and federal regulations for billing, coding, and charge methodology. Coordinates and leads the charge master review processes, maintains the integrity of the charge master by conducting periodic review, works with the directors / managers to identify need for charge master revisions. Ensures all ED charges are entered daily and correctly.
