This position is responsible for planning and coordinating all maintenance of the facility and equipment

DISCUSSION POINTS : Examples :

• Review all planned work requests from assigned areas and determines accuracy of information. Engages appropriate resources to set a preliminary priority.
• Schedule the day to day planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance activities
• Issue scheduled work orders to technicians and addresses any questions
• Ensure plant shutdowns / outages are planned accordingly
• Schedule parts, tools, and services orders according to production and maintenance schedules, and coordinates the delivery of parts, services, and equipment
• Gather quotes for parts and services. Assists in vendor / contractor selection and acts as a primary contact with vendors / contractors.
• Work with accounting and receiving departments on invoices and receipts
• Responsible for materials and inventory operations
• Locate and retrieve parts requested by maintenance personnel
• Coordinate and organize parts room and supplies, under direction of supervisor
• Perform customer service for vendors and employees, helping them sign out parts as they are used
• Maintain computer database / spreadsheets
• Perform data entry of parts room supply information
• Handle miscellaneous parts room filing
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Follow all applicable procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by the manager
• Physical Requirement :
• Standing and / or walking during the entire shift and wearing of proper PPE.
• Requires considerable reaching, lifting, and bending
• Work in wet, cold environment.
