Event Lead

Position Overview: Ready to play a key role in making someone’s big day unforgettable? We are seeking a passionate and organized Event Lead to join our team! You will serve as the main point of contact for couples as they approach their wedding day. The Event Lead is responsible for managing venue details leading up to the day and is there to ensure moving pieces are executed as planned.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Event

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the couple, assisting them with all venue-related questions and details.
• Conduct a final meeting with the client to finalize room layout, timeline, bar details, and assist with any outstanding questions.

Day of Management and Vendor Coordination:

• Oversee the logistics and execution of the wedding day, including ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and any other key transitions.
• Manage the day-of timeline, ensuring that all events run according to schedule.
• Direct event staff and be a resource to vendors to execute the plan and ensure the highest level of service.
• Manage any changes or adjustments needed throughout the event, ensuring a smooth flow from one part of the day to the next.
• Resolve any unexpected issues that may arise to ensure an incredible event experience.

Sales & Venue Tours:

• Assist in the sales process by conducting showings for prospective couples interested in booking our venues.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and being a resource as the couple is making their decision.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in event planning, venue management, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service and relationship building.
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, able to handle last-minute changes and challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Good physical stamina, as the role may involve lifting and moving equipment (up to 25 lbs).
