Job Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping using Xero
- Researching and documenting accounting issues
- Compiling and analyzing financial information
- Examine client reconciliations of bank accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Preparing Financial Reports
- Assisting franchise with Payroll
- Compliance, Deductions, Implementation of Retirement plans and Insurance for employees
- File Sales Tax for IL and Iowa
- Maintain list of Vehicles, depreciation, loans
- Assist Franchise Employees as needed
Requirements
- 3 years of bookkeeping experience (Xero experience a plus)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Skills
- Certified Bookkeeper
- Ability to lead Franchise Managers in financial planning and maintain up to date accounting for each location
