We are looking for an experienced IT Service Desk Specialist with at least 3 years of professional experience to provide technical support and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving IT issues, maintaining system performance, and delivering exceptional support to end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT support via phone, email, or ticketing system.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot end-user systems, applications, and peripherals.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or specialized teams when necessary.
- Maintain and update IT service desk documentation, including user guides and FAQs.
- Monitor system performance and report incidents to ensure minimal downtime.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory and other systems.
- Provide training and support for new and existing users on IT systems and tools.
Requirements:
- College degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in IT service desk or technical support roles.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Familiarity with Windows and common enterprise applications.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
