Job Summary:
At Typhoon Texas Waterpark, we are committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving innovation and profitability across our operations. The Revenue Manager will lead and direct all aspects of our Revenue Operations Team, including Food & Beverage, Retail, and Rentals. This role combines on-the-ground leadership with financial analysis to enhance operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of Food & Beverage, Retail, and Rentals to deliver outstanding guest service while exceeding departmental profitability targets.
- Implement and execute hiring and training programs for the Revenue Operations Team.
- Lead Full-Time and Seasonal Managers in scheduling and labor expense management.
- Manage food and retail inventory, including ordering, portioning, and rotation processes.
- Ensure compliance with health department regulations, alcohol laws, and company policies.
- Foster a supportive environment focused on team growth and success.
- Collaborate with Corporate Revenue Operations to enhance revenue strategies and guest satisfaction.
- Assist in pricing strategies and planning for capital improvements.
- Develop and execute long-term plans for Food & Beverage, Retail, and Rentals.
- Drive sales through service initiatives, upselling, and incentive programs.
- Provide front-line assistance as needed.
- Work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak season.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Minimum of two years’ leadership experience in Revenue Operations, preferably in water parks, theme parks, or entertainment.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, scheduling software, point-of-sale systems, and inventory management systems.
- Ability to resolve guest and employee issues effectively.
- Certifications or licenses required: Food Handler’s Permit, Food Manager’s Certification, and Alcohol Service License (or ability to obtain them).
- Proven ability to coach and positively influence team members.
