Job Details:
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
- Applicants must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
- Some departments are hot/wet, and some are cold/wet.
- Position requires standing long periods of time on concrete floors. Position requires pulling or lifting over 40 lbs and climbing ladders above 10 feet.
- Requires computer-based training and entering work into SAP system.
- Position requires using LOTO, Fall protection, Ladders, Forklifts, pallet Jacks, Lawn mowers, Weed trimmers
- Current maintenance techs will have first consideration over other applicants.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and computer skills is preferred.
- Candidates must have 6 months of maintenance experience or be in a maintenance apprenticeship program.
Must have a Minimum of 6 months Industrial maintenance work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance/refrigeration training program (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months)
Rehiring Criteria: Applicant must not have worked for Tyson more than a total of 3 times prior. Applicants must also have completed at least 180 days since their last employment with Tyson.
