Yale Electric Supply, An affiliate of U.S. Electrical Services, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This position will be located in our Lebanon, PA location.
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Processes telephone orders by quoting product, prices, delivery specifications, and payment terms and by offering substitute products where appropriate.
- Assist with the counter sales team as needed.
- Assists outside sales personnel by processing priority transactions.
- Establishes and maintains customer relationships, communications with customers and co-workers to provide technical information.
- Participates in training opportunities to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge.
- Gains familiarity with the day-to-day operations of the business and participates in improving operations by offering potential alternatives to existing methods.
- Performs project management on job quotes and open orders.
- Provides follow-up for customer quotes and lost sales.
- Keep queues as clean as possible and up to date.
- Work with the Credit Department in solving customer credit issues and problems.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma with minimum 2 years related experience.
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of Solar ERP a plus
- Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 25 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh in excess of 25 lbs.
- Able to prioritize work in multi-tasking environment.
- Able to meet tight deadlines, and follow up on commitments.
- Strong sales and customer service aptitude
- Able to operate effectively in a team environment, and work with sales representatives/specialists to meet customer needs
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office.
- Be a positive member of the sales team and project your positivity to those around you.
- Driven professional with a strong desire to make a meaningful impact, foster business growth, and contribute to the development and success of the organization.
- Show up every day on time with the goal of helping our customers to be successful and have fun.
- Collaborate with co-workers and assist them when they require help.
- Problem Solve and ask for assistance as needed.
- Learn vendors lighting, gear products and software and use them in your work.
