What are the responsibilities and job description for the PATIENT SERVICES COORDINATOR II position at UAB Health System?
- Coordinates scheduling of doctors and patient appointments.
- Assists with patient concerns escalated beyond PAR II knowledge.
- Supervise staff in the absence of practice manager.
- Make scheduling decisions regarding doctors, staff, and patients when practice manager is not available.
- Makes financial decisions regarding patient accounts in absence of practice manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE. Preferred:
- Must be self-motivated
- Possess leadership skills
- Team player
