About the Role

As a Lead Generator – Inside Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business opportunities across multiple sales regions. This role requires a proactive, results-driven professional who thrives on building relationships, identifying new prospects, and generating leads within the construction industry.


Using industry databases like ConstructConnect, you will target distributors, contractors, architects, and other key stakeholders to generate high-value commercial and residential project opportunities. You will also develop and implement lead generation strategies in collaboration with the Country Manager and regional teams.


This is a phone-based role, requiring confidence in cold calling, appointment setting, and nurturing potential clients. If you're a natural communicator who enjoys connecting with people, this is the perfect opportunity for you!


Key Responsibilities


Generate new leads through proactive outreach, including cold calling and follow-ups.


Develop and execute a lead generation strategy targeting key customer segments.


Book AIA presentations and appointments for Regional Business Development Managers (BDMs)


Present Millboard’s products effectively to prospective clients.


Follow up on sample requests and other inquiries to maximize conversion.


Engage with existing clients to uncover new business opportunities.


Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance effectiveness.


Track and report lead activity/KPIs to drive continuous improvement.


What We’re Looking For


We’re seeking a motivated and driven professional with the following qualities:


Experience in lead generation (ideally in the construction industry, working with merchants, architects, and contractors).


Strong phone communication skills—you can engage, build rapport, and sell effectively.


Confident and energized by speaking with people daily.


Goal-oriented and KPI-driven, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.


Resilient and persistent—you handle rejection with a positive, can-do attitude.


Highly organized and adaptable, able to juggle multiple tasks while staying focused.


A team player who works well with internal teams and stakeholders.


Eager to learn and grow, demonstrating a passion for continuous improvement.
