Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical and Instrumentation QC Inspector to ensure the quality and compliance of electrical and instrumentation systems in construction, installation, and maintenance projects. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, performing testing, and verifying compliance with project specifications and industry standards. You will play a critical role in ensuring project success through quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
Your duties will include:
- Performing quality control inspections of electrical and instrumentation installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
- Conducting testing of electrical equipment, cabling, instrumentation, and systems to verify functionality and performance.
- Ensuring installations meet local and international standards such as NEC, IEC, or other relevant codes.
- Preparing and maintaining detailed inspection reports, test records, and documentation for audits.
- Creating punch lists and tracking corrective actions to closure.
- Identifying non-conformities or defects in electrical and instrumentation systems and recommending corrective actions.
- Overseeing factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT) for equipment and systems.
- Supporting pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to validate system readiness.
- Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and contractors to address quality-related issues.
- Monitoring the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols.
Your qualifications are as follows:
- Korean/English bilingual is a must (Native proficiency including writing and reading).
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- 5-12 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation quality control, preferably in industrial or construction projects. Familiarity with FAT, SAT, and commissioning processes.
- Proficiency in testing and diagnostic tools such as multimeters, loop calibrators, and megohmmeters.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to interpret technical documents such as P&IDs, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
