Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Piping Quality Control (QC)Inspector to ensure that piping systems in our construction projects meet all quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of piping systems, welding processes, and industry standards, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Your duties will include:

• Inspecting piping installations to verify compliance with project specifications, engineering drawings, and applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API).
• Conducting visual inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) such as ultrasonic, radiographic, and magnetic particle testing on welds and piping components.
• Monitoring welding activities to ensure compliance with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Welder Qualification Records (WQR).
• Reviewing and verifying Material Test Reports (MTRs) and ensuring that all materials meet specified requirements.
• Preparing and maintaining detailed inspection records, test results, and quality reports.
• Conducting hydrostatic and pneumatic testing to validate system integrity and identify potential leaks or failures.
• Collaborating with construction teams, contractors, and project engineers to address quality-related issues and resolve non-conformities.
• Creating punch lists and tracking corrective actions to ensure timely resolution of quality discrepancies.
• Ensuring proper use and calibration of inspection tools and equipment.
• Supporting pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to validate system readiness.
• Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during inspections and testing.

Your qualifications are as follows:

• Korean/English bilingual is a must (Native proficiency including writing and reading).
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-12 years of experience in piping inspection or quality control, preferably in industrial or construction projects.
• Proficiency in interpreting piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), isometric drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as ASME, API, and ASTM codes.
• Certification in NDT methods (e.g., UT, RT, MT, PT) and welding inspection (e.g., AWS CWI, CSWIP) is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for identifying and resolving quality issues.
• Proficient in MS Office and quality management software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
