Production Control Clerk

Overview

Production Control Clerk (EAGLE 2025-22693):

Bowhead seeks a Production Control Clerk to support its recently awarded Eagle contract in Aberdeen, MD. The Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) Production Control Clerk performs the ASP's function of Standard Army Ammunition Systems (SAAS) Clerk. The Production Control Clerk prepares automated and manual documents and inputs data from documents for assigned ammunition support operations and posts data on records.

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include

• Maintains SAAS documentation, including scheduling reports, archiving files, storage files maintenance, input, and output.
• Participates in providing technical assistance in using the various programs to maintain a complete and accurate database.
• Maintains hard copy files of supply transactions, voucher numbers, causative research, adjustment documents, documents, document register, and other records related to ASP operations.
• Collects data and provides reports as required.
• Uses various computer operating systems/programs to enhance administrative capabilities, and development of unique databases and spreadsheets for management of munitions stocked, issued, and received by the ASP.
• Validates the accuracy of work ongoing and/or completion information.
• Keeps track of all assigned work documents and provides up-to-date status as required.
• Generates and prints a variety of reports or requirements for submission to the Government or various requestors.
• Records and files documents accurately.
• Maintains confidentiality of records.
• Receives, prepares, and verifies documents.
• Responds to routine requests with standard answers.
• Researches and compiles information and data.
• Performs data entry.
• Follows established procedures or steps to process paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required in addition to at least five (5 ) years' of experience in maintaining and running Army tracking system(s).
• Must have excellent typing and 10-key skills as well as extensive past operation of computers, software, and networks.
• Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  
  

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Sit for long periods of time operating a computer keyboard.
• Repeat the same movements.
• Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (office work).
  
  

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust level. Due to the location of this work, US Citizenship is required. Bowhead reserves the right to change this requirement if necessitated by business needs or contractual obligations.
