HR/Payroll Administrator
Location: Sacramento, CA
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, 8 AM - 5 PM, In-Office
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR/Payroll Administrator to oversee HR, payroll, and office administration. This role is based at the front desk, where the individual will be responsible for answering phones, greeting guests, and ensuring smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative support, HR functions, and payroll processing, with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
HR & Payroll Administration:
Act as the primary HR contact, addressing employee inquiries and ensuring compliance with HR policies.
Assist with compensation, benefits administration, leave management, and employee relations.
Participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations in compliance with company policies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Processing payroll
Administrative Support & Office Management:
Provide administrative support, including document handling, filing, and clerical duties.
Manage the front desk, including answering phones, greeting guests, and overseeing office logistics.
Ensure smooth daily office operations by maintaining supplies, coordinating office functions, and assisting staff as needed.
Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in HR, payroll processing, and administrative functions.
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required).
