What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Billing Administrator position at Ultimate Staffing?
Our Legal client is looking for an Billing Adminstrator to join their billing team and manage client billing and collections; coordinate with attorneys, staff, vendors and clients; and observe confidentiality of client and firm matters.
- Work with billing administrators to handle overflow
- Review for accuracy and wording all billing, pre-bills, invoices and past due accounts with team and attorneys
- Review attorney write-offs following Firm policy
- Review monthly retainers against billable hours
- Oversee the execution of all types of bills, including complex ones, in a timely manner
- Ability to handle a high-volume of accounts
- Ability to effectively interact and communicate with attorneys, administrative staff and clients
- Work with office managing partners on specific billing needs
- Research and respond to inquiries from attorneys, staff and clients regarding billing issues and problems
- Create billing schedules and various other analyses as required
- Will oversee collections process and work with attorneys on communications with clients on past due invoices
- Must have strong Aderant experience
- Assists with special projects as needed
Education, Experience and Skills:
- Two or four year degree from accredited college with emphasis on accounting/finance.
- 5-7 or more years hands-on billing experience in a high-volume law firm.

Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
