Quality Manager

Ultimate Staffing is a seeking a Quality Manager for a client based in New Haven County. The QA Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive quality management system to ensure organizational compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices. This role is integral to driving continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of quality, and ensuring exceptional product and service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of quality management principles, and a proven history of implementing effective quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain the Quality Management System:

• Design, implement, and continuously improve quality standards, procedures, and policies.
• Establish clear quality objectives and metrics, communicating them across the organization.
• Ensure full compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Internal Audits and Corrective Actions:

• Conduct regular internal audits to evaluate compliance with quality standards.
• Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions effectively.

Quality Planning and Assurance:

• Partner with product development, engineering, and manufacturing teams to create quality plans for new products or services.
• Review and approve critical quality documentation, including test protocols, validation plans, and inspection procedures.
• Oversee adherence to quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

• Analyze quality performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Lead or support root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts.
• Implement process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Cultivate a Quality-Driven Culture:

• Champion a company-wide focus on quality and continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to employees in adopting quality-focused practices.
• Lead quality-related initiatives and promote best practices.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Actively participate as a member of the company's facility safety and inspection team.

Salary:

• $85,000-110,000
