The QA Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive quality management system to ensure organizational compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices. This role is integral to driving continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of quality, and ensuring exceptional product and service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of quality management principles, and a proven history of implementing effective quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Maintain the Quality Management System:
- Design, implement, and continuously improve quality standards, procedures, and policies.
- Establish clear quality objectives and metrics, communicating them across the organization.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Internal Audits and Corrective Actions:
- Conduct regular internal audits to evaluate compliance with quality standards.
- Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions effectively.
Quality Planning and Assurance:
- Partner with product development, engineering, and manufacturing teams to create quality plans for new products or services.
- Review and approve critical quality documentation, including test protocols, validation plans, and inspection procedures.
- Oversee adherence to quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Analyze quality performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Lead or support root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts.
- Implement process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Cultivate a Quality-Driven Culture:
- Champion a company-wide focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to employees in adopting quality-focused practices.
- Lead quality-related initiatives and promote best practices.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Actively participate as a member of the company's facility safety and inspection team.
Salary:
- $85,000-110,000
