Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Service Bar Technician to provide remote and in-person technical support for end-users.
The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to PCs, networks, and printers, offering efficient solutions with a friendly and professional approach.
The role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a team-oriented environment, is self-motivated, organized, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide walk-up and remote IT support to resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, networks, and printers.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring timely resolution or escalation when necessary.
Assist users with operating system issues, application support, and connectivity problems.
Configure, install, and maintain IT equipment and peripherals.
Document issues, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system.
Educate end-users on best practices and IT policies to improve overall system usage and security.
Collaborate with IT team members to identify recurring problems and recommend long-term solutions.
Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while assisting customers in person and remotely.
Prioritize and manage multiple support tickets simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Stay up to date with emerging IT trends and technologies to provide proactive support.
Qualifications :
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
1-3 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and macOS operating systems.
