HR Generalist Overview:
As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the values and standards of our organization while serving as a central point of contact within the People Team. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of HR functions, from policy creation to employee relations and data management. You will act as a liaison between team members and managers, offering guidance on various issues. Additionally, you will oversee the administration of HR programs, including benefits, evaluations, and compensation analysis, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities
- Embodies and exhibits the principles and key characteristics of our organization as a stakeholder on the People Team and a liaison for all team members and departments
- Act as a bridge between team members and managers while offering advice on significant company employee opportunities for improvement
- Creating, enacting and improving team member policies and procedures
- Overseeing and administering human resources programs including benefits, team member corrective actions, and compensation plans
- Building and maintaining an internal HR documentation process including all employee records and reporting pertinent information regarding benefits, corrective actions, employment agreements, and compensation agreements
- Creating and communicating the details and importance of the company’s Employment Agreements and their governance
- Responsible for all HR data security and integrity with discretion regarding all Team Member-related situations, systems and documentation (i.e., update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status). *Specifically, as it relates to benefits, corrective actions, employment agreement changes and compensation documentation
- Responding to all team members’ questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Specifically, as it relates to benefits, corrective actions, employment agreement changes and compensation documentation.
- Owning the creation of CAFs/PIPs and communicating the process with all of management and Employees
- Governing the write up and termination policy including communicating with all of management and Employees new policies and procedures
- Investigating complaints brought forward by all team members and management.
- Conducting terminations and exit interviews to obtain honest feedback from team members in order to improve as an organization
- Managing and maintaining the organization’s HRIS and preparing reports as needed
- Producing and submitting reports on general HR activities to the Executive team when necessary
- Participating and managing the investigation process with disciplinary matters, on both the employee and management side while maintaining a high level of documentation.
- Understanding or having the ability to research all Legal and Compliance standards by state for each Employee
- Assist with larger projects across the greater People teams as needed
- Additional responsibilities related to business needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, HR management, HR analytics, or related major
- 3 or more years of experience as an HR Generalist
- SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus
- Proven track record providing HR administration and People Management skills
- Highly effective communicator at all levels within the organization
- Excellent detail in documentation
- A passion for all HR functions and best practices while being an innovator on the team for better efficiency
- Experience with an HRIS system (Paylocity is a plus)
- Highly adaptable and works well in high pressure situations that require tight and detailed deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office, and related HR software
- Remarkable organizational and conflict management skills
- Creative problem solver with the company’s goals and values always at the forefront of all decisions
- Meticulous follow up skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
