Position Summary
This position is responsible for closing the business day in the Property Management System and its modules. Duties include auditing daily transactions, preparing summary reports, and assisting with front desk operations to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Audit front desk transactions for pricing accuracy and sales tax compliance.

Ensure trial balance is accurate at the close of each shift.

Reconcile house charges and credit card vouchers with the trial balance.

Assist guests with check-ins and check-outs in a courteous and professional manner.

Provide information about the property, services, staff, and operating hours.

Manage guest room assignments and accommodate special requests when possible.

Follow proper cash handling procedures.
Compliance & Workplace Conduct:

Arrive and depart according to scheduled shifts unless otherwise arranged.

Adhere to Lodge grooming and dress standards.

Follow all safety rules and procedures to minimize hazards.

Uphold Lodge policies and procedures at all times.

Maintain a positive and collaborative relationship with all team members.

Flexibility in scheduling may be required to meet operational needs, as the Lodge operates 24/7.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:

Bachelors degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university preferred.

One to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret safety protocols, operating manuals, and procedural documents.

Proficient in writing routine reports and professional correspondence.

Comfortable speaking before guests and staff.
Mathematical Skills:

Strong ability to calculate figures like discounts, commissions, percentages, and basic geometry/algebra.
Reasoning Ability:

Capable of solving practical problems with minimal standardization.

Able to interpret various instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Other Skills:

Proficient in computer use and point-of-sale systems.
