Maintenance Electrician

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Electrician license (mandatory)
• Knowledge of control systems (PLC, HMI, Relays, etc.)
• Familiarity with GMP regulations
• 1 years of experience in Control Systems
• 5 years of experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment/process support
• Project management experience is a plus

Education:

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
• Acceptable: High school diploma with proper electrician and controls certification

Position Overview:

This role functions as a Control/Electrician with relevant local certifications. The Electrician I will support production equipment and utility systems at a 24/7 manufacturing site in Davie, FL. A South Florida Electrician license is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot plant utilities and equipment, including high-voltage systems, HVAC, steam, gas, and water treatment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and automated systems.
• Troubleshoot automated equipment and control systems (PLC, HMI, relays).
• Ensure compliance with EHS&S, GMP, and SOPs.
• Track maintenance activities using CMMS.
• Support new equipment installations, facility upgrades, and utility infrastructure projects.
• Assist with CAPAs, deviations, and corrective actions related to maintenance.
• Provide technical support for vendor and contractor operations.
• Implement safe work practices, risk assessments, and hazard analysis to maintain a safe work environment.
