As a Construction Administrative Assistant, you'll be the backbone of our Construction Department, providing essential administrative and clerical support. You'll also work closely with our VP of Construction and On- Site Construction Personnel ensuring smooth operations within the department.
Responsibilities
- Administrative support to the Construction Department.
- Assistance in subcontract processing and execution.
- Verification of vendor packets, including insurance and W-9 information.
- Openly communicate, coordinate, and respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
- Maintenance and ordering of department supplies.
- Transcribe meeting notes and other important information accurately
- Support for onsite superintendents with documentation and administrative tasks.
Experience
- Proficiency in administrative and organizational tasks, with an unwavering attention to detail.
- Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Problem-solving abilities for unexpected challenges.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Outstanding Quality Control abilities.
- Prior experience working in commercial construction is required.
Education and Experience
- Preferred Associates or higher degree
- 2 years of experience in the commercial construction industry
- 3 to 5 years of experience working in an administrative role.
