What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Specialist position at Union Orthotics & Prosthetics Co?
Union Orthotics & Prosthetics Co. is a family-owned and operated business providing medical bracing and artificial limbs across western Pennsylvania.
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with ideally 2 years experience in a similar role. This position works in the RIDC Park office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounts payable process, including:
- managing AP email
- printing invoices
- entering invoices into QuickBooks desktop
- routing invoices for approval
- producing checks for signature
- producing bill payment stubs
- initiating ACH payments
- reconciling checks/ACH payments to invoices
- process check mailing/filing
- tracking 1099 vendors
- Other administrative duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of QuickBooks or similar accounting software experience
- Strong PC skills including the entire Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High numerical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in team environment
- Must possess the ability to understand the business and apply knowledge to accounting transactions
Job Type: Full-time
