Who we are looking for :
Atkore, a recipient of a Great Place to Work© certification and a Top Workplaces USA award, is searching for a Supply Planner. Reporting to the Sr. Director, SIOP & Pricing Strategy, this person will be responsible for forecasting and production planning for our Harvey, IL, Hobart, IN, and Phoenix, AZ manufacturing plants. This person will use analytical, marketing, and sales data to effectively estimate future product demand, plan inventory flow, analyze statistical data, and generate accurate forecasts.
The ideal candidate will have minimum of 3 years of professional experience and preference with experience in manufacturing, operations, and / or supply chain management.
What you’ll do :
- Manage monthly SIOP forecast consensus process; drive SIOP process improvements to reduce forecast error.
- Develop and deliver accurate monthly production schedules to plant management.
- Supply production forecasts to the supply chain teams ensuring raw material deliveries are aligned to plant production schedules.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly tracking of delivery metrics to ensure strong customer service.
- Manage inventory levels to achieve working capital goals and reduce inventory levels; SKU rationalization projects.
- Work closely with customer service and sales teams to plan and win large project-based orders.
- Continuously looking for lean opportunities to improve current toolset and streamlining processes.
- Creating standard work documents for procedures and responsibilities.
- Identify opportunities to meet customer demand during constrained supply.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $60,560 - $83,270. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
