Job Title: Dispatch Manager
Position Summary: United Auto Supply is looking for a talented, experienced, and organized Dispatch Manager to manage our team of Drivers and Dispatchers. The Dispatch Manager will be responsible for overseeing our team of Dispatchers, CDL Drivers and Non CDL Drivers.
The Dispatch Manager will ensure timely deliveries, oversee delivery routing, and track deliveries to ensure that customer satisfaction is always achieved. The Dispatch Manager must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be on your feet and be involved in constant daily activity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Must have excellent communication and team building skills and be able to foster relationships with both employees and customers.
· Immediately resolve any issues or delays in the dispatch delivery process.
· Train, coach, and supervise dispatch staff and drivers.
· Create and maintain driver shift schedules, timecards, etc.
· Communicate with customers to provide updates on dispatch and deliveries.
· Review and implement strategies to improve operations.
· Ensure delivery vehicles are regularly maintained and serviced.
· Maintain reports, signatures, pictures and daily logs.
· Oversee Disciplinary Action process and Performance Review process with Drivers and Dispatch staff.
Experience/Skills:
· Proven prior Dispatch Manager Experience.
· Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members, customers and Corporate personnel.
· Leadership skills to motivate, guide and manage team.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00am -5:00pm with remote accessibility on the weekends.
