Camp Facilitator

Job Overview
Summer is just on the horizon! Join UCP and have a fun summer in the sun at our inclusive day camp! Mentor and assist our school aged and/or teenaged campers as they participate in field trips and group activities. Over the summer, you will build meaningful and impactful relationships with our campers and other facilitators.

Responsibilities

• Be present and engaging
• Support participation in guided and self-directed camper activity
• Promote safety, wellbeing, and the development of friendships
• Collaborate with other facilitators to enhance the overall camp experience
• Provide flexible support options, congruent with camper care plans
• Maintain open communication with your supervisor and parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.

Experience

• Previous experience working with children in a camp, classroom, or recreational setting is preferred.
• No experience required, but must express willingness to learn about inclusion and caregiving.
