WHAT WE’RE OFFERINGDo you want a job with a company that is motivated to eliminate the digital divide throughout Middle Tennessee? We are looking for a talented and motivated Business Account Executive (BAE). This BAE role is an individual contributor position on the B2B sales team responsible for driving revenue growth in the SMB business segment. This role also has a direct impact on our business customer experience and will help us achieve a world-class Net Promoter Score (NPS).The Business Account Executive is responsible for the day-to-day planning and driving of sales revenue for commercial internet, voice-based services, and video within an assigned territory. Candidate must have a proven track record of exceeding monthly and quarterly sales goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to exceed revenue, profit, and unit targets to grow the business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDuties include the following, but other duties may be assigned as required.Proactively generates new leads and builds a business pipeline through various prospecting activities, including cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals, and partner relationships.Develops and delivers sales presentations and proposals, demonstrating a deep understanding of United’s products and services.Conducts daily customer meetings with a strong ability to build rapport, open doors, and understand the business needs of decision-makers.Possesses excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, persuasion, negotiation, and sales skills.Consistently delivers on United’s Brand Promise to deliver Faster Internet Speeds and Dedicated Service.Maintains and strengthens customer and community relationships; collaborates with internal teams to ensure operational efficiencies and establish best practices to exceed customer expectations.Collaborates with the Marketing team to plan and coordinate sales promotions and incentives to best meet business goals and objectives.Maintains accurate and comprehensive sales records, including detailed notes of customer interactions and next steps with leads.Prepares sales and activity reports, including forecasts for future sales and revenue projections.

WHAT YOU BRINGHigh school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, Technology, or a related field is preferred.Minimum of 3 years of sales or account management experience.5 years of experience in the telecommunications or ISP industry is a plus.Prior experience with B2B selling.Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record and current auto insurance.Reliable vehicle to meet the transportation needs of the assigned territory.Comfortable with, and experience in, daily prospecting to business prospects.Proven ability to overcome customer objections and close sales on the first visit.Strong follow-up skills with both prospects and customers.Ability to build and foster strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and team members.Client-focused with a passion for exceptional customer service.Driven by a passion for winning.Excellent written and oral communication skillsStrong ability to prioritize tasks and organize daily workflow effectively.Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at an intermediate or advanced level is preferred.Recent sales training and / or certification is preferred.Experience managing leads and opportunities within a CRM database, particularly Salesforce, is highly valued.
