Overview
The Human Resources Shared Services Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing HR service delivery across UHS. This role ensures accurate, timely, and high-quality HR transactions and case resolution, creating a seamless, consistent, and employee-centered HR experience. This position drives operational excellence by refining workflows, implementing technology solutions, and fostering a service-oriented culture aligned with UHS’s values of compassion, trust, respect, teamwork, and innovation.
This leader will collaborate closely with functional leaders, HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence (COEs), IT, Payroll, and Compliance to streamline HR operations and proactively address employee needs. The HR Shared Services Manager is not just overseeing processes but actively transforming how HR services are delivered, ensuring employees and managers receive accurate guidance, proactive support, and a frictionless HR experience.

Education & Experience
Minimum Required
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree if the candidate is actively pursuing a degree, HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP), or other professional development program as part of a structured learning path.
- 3 years of HR experience, preferably in HR operations, HR Shared Services, or HR service delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
