Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced RPA Automation Program Manager or Project Manager to oversee and manage the successful implementation and execution of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex automation projects, leading cross-functional teams, and driving the adoption of RPA technologies to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program/Project Management: Lead and manage end-to-end RPA automation projects, from initial concept through deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business stakeholders, process owners, IT teams, and third-party vendors to gather requirements, understand pain points, and design effective automation solutions.
- RPA Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute a strategic RPA roadmap, identifying high-value automation opportunities, aligning them with business priorities, and setting achievable goals.
- Team Leadership: Manage a cross-functional team of developers, business analysts, and testers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to deliver quality RPA solutions.
- Process Assessment & Design: Work closely with business teams to evaluate and analyze business processes, identifying opportunities for automation and providing process design recommendations.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with RPA projects, ensuring the successful delivery of automated solutions within scope, time, and cost.
- Budget & Resource Management: Oversee the budget for RPA projects, allocate resources effectively, and ensure that automation initiatives are completed within defined financial and resource constraints.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices for RPA development and deployment, continuously improving automation processes and methodologies to achieve optimal results.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with RPA technology vendors, ensuring that their solutions are effectively integrated into the organization’s automation landscape.
- Reporting & Metrics: Provide regular updates to senior leadership, including project progress, KPIs, and ROI metrics, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Change Management: Lead the change management process, driving the adoption of RPA solutions, and ensuring minimal disruption during the transition to automated workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 12 years of experience in managing RPA projects, ideally with exposure to end-to-end RPA lifecycle (design, development, testing, and deployment).
- Proven experience with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
- Strong knowledge of process automation and the ability to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with business and IT stakeholders.
- Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) and tools like JIRA, Microsoft Project, or similar.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification is a plus.
- Experience with business process analysis and process mapping (BPMN) is desirable.
Preferred Skills:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience in managing large-scale enterprise RPA programs.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and infrastructure.
- Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and cognitive automation technologies.
