About the Role:
We are looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join our team and provide top-tier service to our valued customers. In this role, you will be the voice of UKC, assisting customers via phone, email, and online chat. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dog-loving environment, helping customers navigate our services with professionalism and care.
This is a full-time, in-office position located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The schedule consists of four 10-hour workdays (8:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.), allowing for a three-day weekend every week!
What You’ll Do:
- Engage with Customers: Be the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely and professional assistance
- Become a Product Expert: Develop in-depth knowledge of UKC’s services to confidently guide customers through processes and answer their questions
- Solve Problems: Assess customer needs, process orders, and troubleshoot issues to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain Accuracy: Keep detailed and organized records through data entry and order processing tasks
What We’re Looking For:
- Outstanding communication skills – You can articulate responses clearly and professionally, both in writing and over the phone
- Problem-solving mindset – You handle customer concerns with patience, professionalism, and efficiency.
- Tech-savviness – You’re comfortable using MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with Zendesk or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong multitasking ability – You thrive in a fast-paced office setting and can manage multiple tasks at once
- Reliable and committed – You can consistently commute to our Kalamazoo office and excel in an in-office role
