Position Overview:
We are urgently seeking a highly skilled and proactive HSE Manager to support ongoing construction and demolition activities at an industrial site in Marietta, GA. This critical role ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while promoting a culture of safety excellence across all project teams and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives related to construction and demolition operations.
- Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and compliance audits in alignment with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Promote a proactive safety culture across internal teams and external contractors.
- Develop and implement HSE plans, procedures, and training programs tailored to the site and project needs.
- Act as the main liaison between stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Manage incident investigations, conduct root cause analyses, and ensure proper follow-up with corrective/preventive actions.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and reporting in accordance with internal and external requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HSE Manager in construction and/or demolition environments.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and team influence skills.
- Hands-on, proactive approach to managing health and safety risks.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations, compliance standards, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Experience in or familiarity with industrial or pharmaceutical environments is a strong plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NEBOSH Certification or equivalent safety credential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working in GMP-compliant or high-risk industrial environments.
