Position Summary
Responsible for overseeing the Production, Services, and Labeling Export Departments, updating and enforcing SOP’s, ensuring efficient compliance between and among all company divisions, and working closely with and maintaining an effective working relationship with our in-house USDA Inspector.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Overseeing the Labeling, Services, and Production Departments.
1. Labeling oversight includes:
§ English-Arabic labels are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
§ Review label requests forms and pictures for accuracy and completeness.
§ Be aware of country requirements as they change regularly.
2. Services oversight includes:
§ Coordinate with the Services Manager to set the daily service order priorities.
§ Overseeing the service team to ensure they are applying labels and dates in the proper manner.
§ Review the production photos for all orders ensuring that products are labeled and dated correctly.
§ Work closely with the Services Manager to confirm all Custom Pack orders are finished on time, correctly, and meet necessary standards.
§ Work closely with the Tristar Management team to oversee the Custom Pack room.
§ Verify all production reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
§ Complete labor cost reports to review at weekly Tristar Management meeting.
· Responsible for updating and enforcing all SOP’s for warehouse operations including exports, imports, domestic orders, and limited in-house processing.
· Work closely and be first point of contact with the in-house USDA Inspector.
· Participate in daily & weekly meetings i.e., daily export pipeline, weekly forward planning, and TriStar Meetings.
· Collaborate with the Tristar Management Team to ensure all warehouse export operations are being done correctly and efficiently.
· Complete labor reports as orders are completed and submit to Executive team.
· Responsible for divisions of the company including export, import, domestic consolidations, food repackaging, and custom packing.
· Ensure that all domestic food consolidation, re-packing, and carton kitting projects are executed within our SOP, SSOP, and HACCP guidelines.
· Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· Minimum 1 year experience in Warehouse Operations.
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in Management.
· Must be extremely organized, detail oriented, and able to multitask.
· Must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams, Google Docs, word processing applications, as well as our proprietary warehouse software.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Team Player- must be able to collaborate across all departments.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
· This role requires an individual to quickly move between multiple locations in the warehouse including the production floor, chillers, and freezers to the offices.
· Afterhours availability by work provided cell phone in the event of an emergency.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
