About this role:
The Administrative Assistant & Volunteer Coordinator will report to the President & CEO. The key objective is to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization by performing clerical duties and providing support to staff members. This role also includes managing volunteers and volunteer projects.
Key Responsibilities:
· Answer telephone, convey accurate messaging, and provide support to the general public.
· Create and maintain relationships, organize, and manage community volunteers.
· Input information into appropriate software or applications.
· Provide support to staff.
Qualifications:
· High School diploma, some college preferred.
· Two years of secretarial or clerical experience.
· Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Bilingual (English/Spanish)
· Volunteer management experience preferred.
· Ability to work tight deadlines and think creatively under pressure.
· Excellent oral, written communication, telephone communication and interpersonal skills
· Must have a valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements: While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and to hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch; handle, carry or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Prolonged use of a computer is required. The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
