Department: Finance & Support Services
Reports To: Vice President of Finance & Support Services
Exempt Status: Non-Exempt
Work Schedule: Part-Time: 15-20 hrs/week. Between core hours of Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30 p.m.
Purpose of Position: This unique Accounts Payable role is responsible for processing payments to other non-profits as selected by our donors. This individual will work closely with our Fundraising department to ensure donor requests are honored in a timely fashion.
Essential Functions
· Process payments to other non-profits based on donor requests and/or grant awards.
· Maintain vendor files for accounts payable including agency grants and donor requests.
· Provide customer service to both donors and agencies regarding payments issued.
· Manage correspondence with non-profits regarding online payment information (via our website).
· Assist in maintenance and organization of our various databases.
· Provide administrative support to the Finance department as needed.
· Other tasks as assigned.
Position Qualifications
· Associate’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
· Must be detail oriented and able to handle a large volume of data with a high degree of accuracy.
· Have an intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products especially in Excel.
· Ability to learn and understand specific software pertaining to financial management, accounting, spreadsheets, and databases.
· Ability to analyze data and prepare specialized reports.
· Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and focus on multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
· Experience working in the nonprofit/fundraising environment is a plus but not required.
· Must be a self-starter with ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Travel
Although very rare, travel is primarily local during the business day.
