Unitex is experiencing unprecedented growth! Due to this growth, we are in search of a highly skilled Regional Operations Manager for our two plants in Mount Vernon, NY as well as our plant in Newburgh, NY.
Compensation : The salary range for this position is $225,000 to $240,000 per year. Actual compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, seniority, location, and other permissible job-related factors.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Organizes efficiently and effectively the operations of several Unitex plants at several locations, maximizing profitability while assuring all productive areas are performing up to production standards
- Supervises the General Manager located at each plant who oversees several levels of production, transportation, maintenance and office personnel
- Reviews weekly labor, energy, and linen acquisition costs to ensure overall efficiency at each plant
- Understands budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management principles and procedures to ensure each plant is operating according to budget
- Reviews production reports regularly and adjusts accordingly
- Oversees the installation of all new accounts
- Assists in the recruiting and training of management and staff
- Involved with the continued development of a team of managers.

- Takes action and initiative; shows passion and energy; shows commitment
- Builds effective customer relationships and resolves issues in a timely manner
- Communicates issues affecting other departments/locations
- Searches for and implements new ideas for constant improvement
- 10 years of progressive management experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Prior experience managing through others
- Prior experience managing multiple processing facilities
- Prior experience managing a profit center
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and basic PC skills
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work closely with other leaders, executives and front-line staff
- Experience developing, motivating and building a team based on trust, listening and collaboration
- Able to learn proprietary computer systems
- Understands that plants are open on weekends and weekend coverage is at times mandatory
