Summary: The Accounts Payable position will be responsible for accounts payable functions, including—but not limited to—processing invoices, cutting checks, reconciling vendor statements, and monthly accruals. Generally, this position will support the accounting department and assist in accurate and timely financial statements.
Reports to : Accounts Payable Manager
Responsibilities:· The accounts payable responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* three-way matching
* Processing invoices into company specific system
* Cutting checks to vendors
* Reviewing payable statements
* Handling vendor payment inquiries
* Processing monthly accrual
* Vendor set up
* Filing
* Assist where needed as requested by the manager
Skills and Abilities:
* Able to read written instructions, complete required paperwork, perform basic math calculations, and have basic computer and keyboarding skills.
* Planning and organizational skills
* Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and v-lookups)
* Good verbal and written communication skills
Education Requirements & Experience Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Or combined education and related accounting experience
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
· Intermittent physical activity, including bending, reaching, lifting up to 25 pounds, and prolonged periods of sitting
· Office environment

Pay rate: Hourly $21 - $23
