JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager, Transformation Strategy & Value Engineering, plays a critical role in shaping the Enterprise Transformation Management Office (ETMO)’s strategic initiatives. This role aids the identification of market opportunities and translating business opportunities into potential initiatives. It ensures that enterprise-wide transformation strategies are actionable, value-driven, and aligned with organizational goals. The Senior Manager will collaborate with the Business Case Manager on developing comprehensive business cases, contribute to value framework, determine the total cost of ownership, and support the successful design and planning of UDX’s transformation initiatives.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
INITIATIVE IDEATION & STRATEGIC ALIGNMENT
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify potential initiatives that align with organizational goals and transformation priorities.
- Evaluate proposed initiatives for strategic fit, feasibility, and alignment with market trends and industry benchmarks.
- Facilitate ideation sessions to help leaders refine initiative concepts and ensure alignment with enterprise strategies.
- Develop and apply strategic frameworks to assess the potential impact and organizational value of new initiatives.
- Analyze offerings, pricing strategies, and market positioning to identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement.
- Monitor and synthesize emerging industry trends, customer behaviors, and technological advancements to inform strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate gaps between current market offerings and customer needs to recommend actionable strategies that align with company goals.
- Work with cross-functional teams to analyze guest and team member feedback, surveys, and data to uncover actionable insights and enhance value propositions.
- Define clear and measurable value statements for proposed initiatives, linking them to transformation objectives.
- Work with value owners, transformation champions and business case managers to validate KPI relevance and secure consensus on expected outcomes.
- Model potential impacts to operational performance based on value opportunities within initiatives.
- Partner with Business Case Manager(s) to integrate KPIs into initiative tracking and reporting systems.
- Regularly review and refine KPIs based on initiative progress, organizational changes, and emerging insights.
- Assist in evaluating and ranking initiatives based on strategic importance, value potential, and resource availability.
- Work closely with Portfolio Management to ensure proposed initiatives align with the enterprise transformation roadmap.
- Conduct reviews of the initiative pipeline to identify gaps, risks, or opportunities for prioritization adjustments.
- Ensure prioritized initiatives maintain alignment with changing organizational priorities and market conditions.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, or a related field required.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
7 years of experience in strategy, business case development, value engineering, value management, benefits realization, or related fields.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Value Management, Benefits Realization, Business Case Development, Strategic Planning, Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, SAVE International CVS (Certified Value Specialist) or other relevant certifications preferred but not required.
- Strong expertise in value definition, including ROI analysis, cost-benefit evaluation, and KPI development.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate stakeholder collaboration and align cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex data and insights into actionable recommendations and compelling business cases.
- Experience in conducting market research, benchmarking, and data analysis to inform decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
