Universal Photonics, Long Island based world-leader in critical preparation materials, dedicated to advancement of surfacing and polishing technologies, is seeking an Accounts Services Representative. We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Account Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional client services. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting customer service requests including order processing, general inquiries, issue resolution and product support request. Coordinate responses to customers which may originate in other parts of the organization.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage purchase orders, RFQ’s, and RA, requests via fax, phone and e-mail and enter into an operating system.
- Facilitate customer requests regarding products, accounts, and orders.
- Communicate relevant information to customers and sales team, utilizing data sheets, reporting on purchase history and other requests
- Responsible for Sales Order Expedites
- Demonstrating our commitment to client service and satisfaction
- Ability to work as a liaison interdepartmentally to ensure the customer receives their orders in a timely fashion
- Review daily reports to ensure deadlines are met
- Maintain communication to provide regular maintenance of customer accounts within the region assigned
- Make outbound calls for any issues encountered while servicing the customer’s needs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- 3-5 years in a customer service role is required.
- College degree or previous work experience.
- Problem solving and analytical ability required
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize, and deal with ambiguity
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with customers
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel required, SAP knowledge a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
