The Office of Student Affairs at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the quality of student life experience throughout the four years of medical school.
Student Affairs provides a variety of services, including student enrollment, financial aid, academic records, physical and mental wellness, admissions counseling, career counseling, externships, residency preparation and professional development.
The incumbent will use professional admissions and recruitment concepts by assisting with recruitment efforts and/or preparing admissions materials.
Please note: this is a limited appointment position, capped at a maximum of 1,000 work hours. The candidate will work approximately 20 hours per week. The assignment is expected to end after approximately 50 weeks.
The full salary range for the Admissions Recruitment Specialist 1 is $24.71 - $41.67 per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $24.80 - $29.03 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
