Structure
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is an exempt (salaried) position employed by the University of Cincinnati Foundation (UCF) and reports to the Vice President for Human Resources.
Focus
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting, evaluating and hiring highly talented team members to drive the mission and vision of the University of Cincinnati Foundation.
Specific Duties
- Manage full cycle recruiting, including sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews and negotiating offers.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure successful recruitment of top talent.
- Meet and coordinate with hiring managers to outline the recruitment process and timeline, set expectations, determine position KSA’s and ensure accurate job descriptions for posting.
- Identify how to best market positions, including non-traditional resources, to reach a diverse talent pool including those with relevant transferrable skills.
- Utilize applicant tracking system to manage recruitment processes and facilitate candidate flow, ensuring timely communication and progression.
- Maintain a robust network and seek out passive candidates to engage regarding potential career opportunities.
- Serve as an active recruiter at industry conferences and other local, regional, and national events.
- Manage the candidate experience, including scheduling and coordinating on-campus interviews, and engaging with candidates on UCF’s organizational culture, providing realistic job previews and delivering a comprehensive overview of employee total rewards.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring team, provide counsel on interview best practices, ensuring consistency, and manage timely collection of feedback.
- Manage candidate assessment tools and processes, educating hiring managers on results and utilization in the interview process.
- Partner with human resources teammates to ensure seamless transition from hire to orientation and onboarding; check in with new hires to gather feedback on their hiring and on-boarding experience.
- Manage UCF’s employment brand on website and social media.
- Maintain dashboard of key talent acquisition goals and metrics for ongoing evaluation.
- Serve as subject matter expert on recruiting and staffing trends and best practices, making recommendations to leadership on recruitment strategies and improvements.
- Oversee and coordinate student employment programs with a focus on building a talent pipeline.
- Manage and evaluate relevant vendor relationships.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
What We Offer
The anticipated starting salary range for the Talent Acquisition Specialist role is $60,000-$75,000 annually. When determining the final offer amount the UC Foundation considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education / training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
