Title: Graduate Assistant (Cancer Research Compliance)
Monthly Type: 11-Month
Full Time/Part Time: Part Time - Full Time Equivalency: 50%

Salary: Step 13 ($2,245.50 per month)

Job Duties:
- Monitoring Compliance related emails.
- Assist with administrative task such as the drafting of SOPs, and guidance of compliance documents.
- Assist with the tracking training compliance across the Cancer Center.
- Assist with the tracking of Cancer Center studies submitted to applicable review boards.
- Assist in the development of education tools and resources for clinical research staff.
- Assist in the maintenance of the compliance intranet section.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A classified University of Hawaii at Manoa graduate student (new or continuing). Good academic standing (3.0 GPA or above.
- Competent in general computer programs (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
- Applicant needs to be able to work independently and reliably as a team. Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Flexible and willingness to learn new skills.
