- Maintaining project budgets and fiscal operations
- Maintaining participant and project records
- Provide administrative, fiscal, and logistical support to the program director and outreach staff
- Utilize University programs to create and submit financial documents and to provide routine financial reports to the program administrator
- Other duties as assigned
- Composing, proofing, and editing a variety of documents, using proper grammar and punctuation as demonstrated in application materials
- Using computer software and applications for word processing, developing spreadsheets, email and internet research
- Experience with office support functions
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Working evenings and weekends when as needed
- Occasional overnight travel
- Experience with MS Excel
- Experience interpreting, applying and explaining complex information such as regulations, policies or services
- Experience with managing competing priorities and deadlines
- Experience working with minors
- Knowledge of TRIO and the populations they serve
- Experience in navigating and applying relevant policies and procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills resulting in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with supervisors, colleagues and student staff
