Position Summary
A) To build an innovative, collaborative, and well-funded research program to advance oral, dental and craniofacial research; B) To develop and teach graduate level courses in MS, PhD programs, C) to mentor MS and PhD trainees.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Duties and Responsibilities for Research and Service
  • 1. Develop and maintain an externally funded, and independent research program.
  • 2. Collaborate with faculty to build successful collaborative research teams within the college and across campus.
  • 3. Prolific grant writing and research publication.
  • 4. Participate in departmental and college committees.
  • 5. Participate in collegiate faculty meetings as well as departmental meetings, and other divisional meetings and departmental conferences on a regular basis
  • 6. Participate in continuing education programs in the College and at other locations as deemed appropriate.
  • 7. Participate in public service activities.
  • Duties and Responsibilities for Teaching/Education
  • 1. Assist with course development and assessment tools.
  • 2. Teach in a variety of seminars and conferences in the department.
  • 3. Provide creative leadership in further development of undergraduate and graduate programming including course directorship.
  • 4. Advise and direct undergraduate, graduate students, residents, and postdoctoral research trainees, includes mentoring research thesis.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
