Physical Requirements Occasional lifting / carrying objects up to 10 lbs., sitting for long periods of time, walking to on-campus meetings; effectively communicate with individuals from all backgrounds and varied professional levels. Shift 40 hours per week; Mostly Monday through Friday 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm but there will be some evenings and weekends.
Job Summary The Student Success Area Fiscal and Senior Business Officer will serve the Office for Student Success with leadership and accountability of the division operations, including division operations, budget, human resources, business policy and procedure, and university policy compliance. Position includes management and leadership. This position works closely with the unit leadership, directors, and UK support offices. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Student Success, this position supports the overall Student Success Central Operations unit, providing critical business knowledge and consultation to all aspects of the student success organization.
Student Success will, from the time of early college outreach to graduation and beyond, support students in living a life of meaning and purpose. From a student-centered framework, our practice will be grounded in peer-reviewed literature, national best practices, and data-informed decision making. Collaborating with the campus and community, Student Success will work through a holistic lens to support a diverse community of learners in achieving success. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? Yes Preferred Education / Experience Prefer a master’s level degree or higher and experience in operations and management in a higher educational setting.
