This is a fiscal-year, soft-money funded position with a typical salary range of up to $60,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The position includes a 10% employer contribution to the UMS retirement plan. Continued employment is contingent upon ongoing external funding and the operational needs of the university.

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in school counseling, education, or other related disciplines.
- A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in educational programming including knowledge of adolescent development theory as it relates to low-income and first-generation students or work in student services (i.e, teaching, mentoring, counseling)
- A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or management experience.
- A minimum of three (3) years of budget management experience.
- Valid driver’s license (in good standing, based on UMS standards).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Management experience in a TRIO program.
- Program evaluation and data analysis experience.
- Academic curriculum development and educational assessment for grades 9-12.
