Job Summary
The Office of Admissions seeks a motivated, professional, and experienced individual to serve as a key member of the team to support the enrollment growth goals of the University. Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Admissions for Transfer, the Transfer Credit Processing Specialist will be responsible for the entry credits for transfer students including AP, IB, CLEP, DSST, etc. and college transfer credit into the Banner database. The Specialist will also assist with additional credit evaluation processes and entering articulated courses into Banner as well as other office functions related to student files and evaluations.

Job Summary

The Specialist will also assist with additional credit evaluation processes and entering articulated courses into Banner as well as other office functions related to student files and evaluations.
Responsibilities*
- Use student information system (Banner) to enter AP, IB, and college transfer credit and all related information at time of admissions and updated transcripts - quickly, accurately, and completely to support degree audit and advising
- Train to enter articulated courses into the student information system (Banner) after course equivalency is determined and serve as a back up
- Complete TEW evaluation and final reviews of students using Salesforce and Banner
- Participate in the release of final transcript holds
- Collaborate with the academic units and registrar for courses that need evaluation
- Reach out to students when needed about syllabi for course evaluations as needed
- Provide continuous, timely, and courteous service when assisting all internal and external customers
- Assist in quality control through assurance of data integrity
- Assist with special events and activities which could include some evenings or weekends
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of office goals and core values
- Awareness of and sensitivity to the needs and expectations of college students and enthusiasm to support them
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office software
- Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma and commensurate experience at minimum
- Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative, team oriented, office environment
- Excellent organizational, prioritization and attention to detail skill sets
- At least two years of data entry experience
- Demonstrated experience of typing with accuracy and speed
- Effective interpersonal skills and enthusiasm, as well as respect for individuals
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a high-producing team
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all audiences
- Banner SIS experience preferred
- Experience with college transcripts preferred
