Provide primary staff support to the Executive Director, Capital Projects for implementation of the campus master plan and associated project planning and design for the campus built environment, including project development, programming, and financial feasibility. Oversees facility planning and supports campus design activities, including design development of new buildings, landscape/hardscape, parking facilities, and modifications to existing buildings. Provides direction, technical expertise, and assistance to building programs and establishes and evaluates appropriate standards for facility planning, design, construction, and related services. Provides strategic and operational level support for capital development initiatives, develop and oversee the processes for establishment of project formulation, justification, prioritization of budgets, facility requirements, integration and development, and ensure projects support the strategic plans and visions for the University. Identifies objectives, manages very significant human, financial, and physical resources, and functions with an extremely high degree of autonomy. Accountable for formulating and administering policies and programs for major functions. Operational or program results can affect overall campus wide performance and reputation.
