This is an adjunct faculty position within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Duties/Responsibilities
- Duties of the adjunct faculty position include course planning, instruction in classroom or lab, holding office hours, and managing teaching assistant(s) as applicable to the specific course(s).
- The adjunct faculty is also responsible for student evaluation and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
- The department chair of Civil and Environmental Engineering will determine your workload.
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
- B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering or equivalent, relevant experience in the topic area of instruction
- Knowledge and relevant experience in Civil and Environmental Engineering topic of instruction, strong oral communication skills.
- 8 years training and experience in the field of Civil and Environmental Engineering
- Prior teaching experience
