The HSC Financial Services office provides fiscal services to the entire HSC Campus, including off-site departments. Our mission is to provide prompt, accurate, courteous and professional services to meet all of our customer's needs. Our customers range from students, staff, faculty, and outside vendors and agencies.
HSC Financial Services is looking for a dynamic, self-directed professional for the position of Accountant III. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who possesses a strong accounting background and sponsored projects experience. The successful candidate must be knowledgeable in financial reporting and systems, and possess strong communication and problem solving skills.

Bachelor's degree and successful completion of at least 15 credit hours of university-level accounting through intermediate accounting; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
* Proficiency/Expertise:
o In using databases for analysis
o With GASB regulations and other federal and state governmental regulations
* Experience with/in:
o Restricted (sponsored projects) accounting
o Training in, or experience with Banner Finance or a similar integrated system
o Collection of accounts receivable
o Professional accounting in large, private or public-sector environments, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
