The Student Information Systems Administrator will serve as the functional administrator for National Student Clearinghouse – certifying student enrollment / degree information, navigating multiple database systems, and troubleshooting data inaccuracies.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 1 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Ellucian Banner student information systems as well as National Student Clearinghouse.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of student information systems within higher education settings.

Serves as the functional administrator for National Student Clearinghouse for the Office of the University Registrar. Submits enrollment files to NSC according to schedule and works with vendors to troubleshoot configuration and file load issues.

Serves as the primary point of contact with UTS/IBM on all NSC testing and troubleshooting activities to include upgrades, patches, defects and changes. Researches, verifies and submits daily individual student enrollment and graduation verification. Investigates and resolves file errors. Serves as liaison to students, faculty, staff and other constituents/offices to verify NSC enrollment and graduation status for current and former USC students.
